ReplyDeleteRemember to use "acabar de" with an infinitive verb for anything past tense, so you avoid having to conjugate to the preterite (simple past) tense.(But you need to conjugate acabar: yo acabo or nosotros acabamos.) It's a great shortcut and it always worked for me. Nosotros acabamos de nadar ayer. (We just finished swimming yesterday.) Close enough! ;)XXX
